Saturday's Critters #218
I haven't ventured far into the forest. It's treacherous walking, with freeze and thaws, and hail yesterday.
I moved the bird feeders around. Dratted red squirrel was disappointed, but settled in and enjoyed this feeder.
I think the red-breasted nuthatch was chastizing me for taking photos!
The hairy is happy!
Happily, the goldfinch is showing a bit of yellow!

Wannabe birdie, wanna fly up to the feeder!

Hello, the ice is dangerous when walking and driving. I love all your birds. I miss seeing the Red-breasted Nuthatch here. They are so cute. The squirrels always find the feeders, they are piggies. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Thanks so much for your comment and visit. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
It is a Red-breasted Nuthatch not a Rose-breasted Nuthatch. Cute bird either way.
Wonderful series of bird photos and fun to see the black squirrels photos
Happy Weekend to you,

Sure as hell doesn't look red to me, David! But you are right! I sit corrected.
I looked up rose breasted, just in case, saw a photo of one in my search images, and I didn't see a correction! sigh.
The nuthatch is my favorite. I don't blame you for staying in. It's better than breaking a bone. Stay warm!
Lovely photos and videos, it will be spring before we know it!
And he kept on hoping to see a feeder down lower!!! They are so cute, that tail, so fast, and agile, no wonder they can hold on upside down to almost anything.. Keep safe on that ice if you dare to venture outdoors!!!
Annabelle's timing was off!
It looks like you don't have to venture into the forest as the critters are up at your house.
Nice pics of all the birds. I especially like your red breasted nuthatch. We don't get the red breasted in our area. Have a great weekend.
Maybe I should try some of those hanging net feeders from my bridge railings. I wonder if it would survive a Blue Jay or Raven attack. - Margy
