Grandsitting Day 4

Wed., Aug. 2nd

Grampa brings me coffee! I was mocked!!!
Coffee from Jennifer Jilks on Vimeo.

Isabelle wanted to take a photo of her morning parfait, with the cherry on top! She makes it herself every morning.

Close eyes: Grampa bought them new sockies!

Mini-golf in Perth

Pool play

Wetland walkies. Poor Isabelle had to use the anti-itch meds. We saw a bullfrog, and were attacked by a million bugs! They were brave enough to have photos taken, very briefly!

Jeopardy for Teens: One contestant can cite Pi to 500+ places. It took her 10 minutes. We had to stop the PVR and discuss Pi. I reminded them of the math book.

World of Dance: juniors! Grampa did a special shopping trip and bought us watermelon and apricot. Isabelle munched an apricot during the show.
We discussed the evaluation parameters: choreography, technique, performance, creativity.

"That's J Lo?" asked Josie?
"Sure is!"
Isabelle: "Best day ever!"

Downstairs for bedtime story: Nebudchadnezzar, which I wrote. I invented a new twist. Isabelle can use her magic wand to shrink Neb to be able to visit the train museum.
Daisy decided to visit and listen, too. She's pretty shy with the girls.

Bugs and itching can spoil everything, even if one has anti-meds.
Lovely new sockies to enjoy, thanks to grandpa!

This is the "stuff" that holiday dreams are made of!!! What a fab time, every day you dream up a new adventure, something that only the Grandparents can do, and it is all magical.
