OPP Incident Reports

It's good seeing our police out doing their jobs. They provided a report for April 3 - 10, explaining
Our turkeys are huge!
their 331 calls. It's hard to imagine!

Deer are on the move to summer yards
There were impaired drivers; 21 collisions with 12 involving deer, and another involving one turkey; 12 domestic violence calls; property disputes; domestic assaults; people driving on unnavigable flooded roads. It reminds me that we live a pretty peaceful life.

We encountered several OPP cars, sirens blazing, on Perth Rd., Concession 2A. I was curious as to what happened. I think this was the incident:
On Friday, April 7, officers responded to a call in Drummond North Elmsley Township. A 27-year-old Ottawa man remains in custody pending a bail hearing, and is charged with two counts of assault, one count of break and enter into a dwelling and one count of mischief.

They just kept coming. By the end of it, there were something like 6 OPP black & whites, and an unmarked police car. They got their man!

The only time I see OPP cars here is when they pull off the 417 or 416, which are their areas of responsibility here.
