Flooding in Perth, Lanark County, Beckwith
This is a beautiful, new Dry Stone Legacy Bridge in Perth. We visited whilst they built it in 2016.
It is now under flood waters.
Stewart Park is a mess, too.
Haggart Isl. Dam and Bridge repair on the Tay River July 2016. This is very low water.
Here we are, April 7th, and the water is flowing fast.
The work done under the new bridge is holding up very well.
Then there is Riverside Rd. in Perth. I headed there for physiotherapy on my limbs. The water was just about across the road. Last Duel Park picnic tables are under water!

I just saw you on Twitter via Black. You're famous. :)
Hopefully there's no rain in the forecast for a few days, give the water levels a chance to lower down.
Never a dull moment! Storms, now flooding...
As a child I used to be afraid of overflowing rivers. Nowadays people are afraid of tzunamis. I've just watched the movie made on the tzunami in Thailand, 2004. Well, I know now I'll not stay at a hotel by the beach or buy a house by a river with an history of flooding.
The stone bridge in Perth is cute.
Gosh from your previous post, and this one ...that's a lot of water!!!
Hope your physiotherapy went well.
Take Care
All the best Jan
that's a lot of water. It looks like the wisdom of the planners prevented housing from being built on the floodplain.
water often seem to be at the wrong places. We could have used it where I live. We are low on ground water :(
