Off we went. I'd heard there was a sale in Kemptville. We pass lots of barns.
It was a dark, dreary day. A very interesting barn, however. Al's closing up shop, and was having a sale.
I loved this piece. So did both Daisy & Annabelle, who had to check it all out. I haven't decided where to place it, but it is inspected.

Those Back Off signs are so ugly.
I mean, do they think a politician goes by and says, "Okay then, I'd better heed that."
I always think it would be funny if the government outlawed them.
I am now stepping off my little soapbox.
My mother bought a desk like that at a school closing sale many years ago. It was at their place for awhile, then my house when the girls were young, now holding a place of honor in my eldest daughters home in TOronto. My gang carved their names to match the names that were already in the old desk.
The new chair passed all the tests, just waiting for an iPad of cup of coffee there on the rest piece. What a design.
it is a tad gloomy...but any road trip is a fun trip!!!!
That was a great find Jenn! Let us know what you end up using it for.
Those old barns are so sketchable!
How could any teacher resist an old school desk?
Oh, yes, cats would love to check that out.
I can guess why that kind of chair caught your interest. - Margy
