What a difference a day makes!

Snow falls
Branches wear fluffy coats
In lieu of leaves
What is the weight of a snowflake?
Their arms groan with them
Fairy tale land
Spring is hiding beyond the horizon
Deer paws through the snow
Looking for a munch
Birds haunt the feeder
Desperate to feed empty bellies
Preparing for new birth

We had about 3" of snow...which melted. After the sun came out, I spotted an eagle flying above the house.

Great post! Beautiful photos. I think we have seen the last of our snow.

Maybe this is the swan-song of your snow, as spring must surely lay its claim soon. Down here, rain, lots, 49 ml last night, so the stream will be flowing fast and dirty. Hugs to you both and all others at your home as well, naturally. Maybe just leave the deer out of that!!Superb eagle shot.

Is this for real? Well, we can expect anything in March. Nice poem.

Gorgeous shots. Although I guess you are longing for some spring...

Oh that Eagle is so beautiful. And wow what an incredible late snow -- so beautiful, but I'm so glad it melted quickly. Change is always welcome!
