A couple of videos: Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese

How joyful it is that the swans are returning. This is a celebration of the first day of spring!

There were Canada geese and trumpeter swans and a Great blue heron at the locks, Th., March 20th. We drove on down to Narrows Lock and found a pair sleeping.

Beautiful, on one foot, wing stretched, and a beak in the feathers, they are truly wondrous birds. That needs a name for a ballet pose, maybe there already is one.

You've got some welcome signs of spring. The robin is always a good sign.
