The deer should give birth soon!

I took a buggy walk down to the meadow. Faline was there, and she is pregnant! I went up to the house and grabbed my videocam and came back. I noticed she has a rather round belly.

She began to realize I meant her no harm. When she turned sideways to eat, I could see better!
I spotted a fawn in 2012, June 8!
You can see a hoof sticking through the belly. I sure know how she feels!

Oh what a lovely sight the pregnant deer is. I loved seeing the fawn you saw in 2008.

Won' be long now! Great shots!

Good eye to pick this up. To me something looks wrong as the fawn should be rolled up with legs tucked in.

What a wonderful video !

I hope not, Red. I know my 2nd child used to roll around in my tummy. I'd be awfully sad to come across a body in the forest again...

I would have thought earlier in the spring would be the time they'd be giving birth.

How wonderful! I hope you get to see her fawn later on.

This is so cool! But yikes! A hoof has got to hurt more than a human baby's bare feet.
