Gotta love technology: find out who doesn't have power in Ontario!

HydroOne customers can see who has power outages. You can also phone them, and they will tell you!
Lots of people have been out for a couple of days.
Long time without power!

According to Hydro One, about 13,000 customers in Ontario woke up without power Friday morning. That number quickly climbed to 50,000 with more outages expected throughout the day.
My friend, in Muskoka, said that 11,000 are without power in her region.

Frank is up at our new place (north of Bancroft) and power went out yesterday morning at around 11. I had been watching the Hydro One site throughout yesterday and today and their estimated restore time was for 8 tomorrow night. It still says that but he got power back about a half hour ago.

PS I like your Remembrance Day header but I'm not sure if you realize that by adding "Afghanistan Memorial" to the image, you've actually changed your blog name to the same (from Cottage Country Reflections). That's how it appears on the title in grey at the very top of every blog post page now.

I saw that, Hilary! I guess I ought to change it back. But I had questions about the header! sigh. It is amazingly easy to change it, at least.
Glad your hubby has power back! Good luck with sales.

I hadn't even thought there would be power outages, with all the wind!!! And to think, Newfoundland has that kind of wind on a fairly regular basis...
