My faithful companion. I went out to fill up the bird feeder. My helper came along.
I heard the pileated woodpecker banging away in the forest. We took a walk over the ditch to find out. We were not successful, but you can hear it hammering away in my video.
Buster is such a good buddy! He loves his forest walks. He jumps from my footprints in the snow, step by step. The snow is up to his armpits! What a trooper.
He loves to go for walks in the forest.

DANKE für diese Momente sagt das katerchen mit einem LG von hier
It just amazes me that Buster likes (or at least tolerates) the snow so well. Great pictures and slide show.
This one's just for you Jenn to save yourself from an e-mail from me...I see the side bar about 'close eyes' and if that has been there all along, I am embarrassed that I didn't see it before I asked you about it in a previous comment! I must have been in a fog. Again, I love your 'new tradition'!!!!
such a sweetie
Buster is a beauty!
Buster looks great in the snow. It´s funny to see him walking there. And wow, your woodpeckers are very busy!
Cats are so daft!!!!
Really enjoyed your pictures and videos of your cat. When I was little we had a black cat much like that (only fatter *grin*). He was a hoot...we lived on a boat then and he used to stick his tail into the water to attract fish and catch them that way (he was successful sometimes,...though he fell in numerous times trying to do this).
Oh, yes, I love Buster! His leaps through the snow made me think of my late, great cat Herman, who made the rounds of neighbors every morning, whatever the weather. And not just any neighbors...he liked the ones who had babies, kittens, or puppies for him to play with.

He's so sweet going with you on your walk.
Buster was so careful in his steps after sinking a couple of times hehehe. So cute.
Hopping late from Camera Critters.
