Skywatch Friday - cloudy days

SKywatch
We went for a drive. The sun looked amazing as we drove over the Rideau Ferry bridge, formerly Oliver's Landing or Oliver's Ferry.
We happened by the Zellers store in Smiths Falls that is closing, bought out by Target. Typical big box stores that have destroyed the quality of good we buy.
The Tay River was a beautiful sight, where it crosses highway #43. Lots of rushing water.
We had about a foot of snow, and the sun was a welcome diversion.

Good job.. I know it is difficult to get good sky photos in the winter at least I always found it so.. I haven't done a skywatch for awhile maybe next week LOL

I found your blog via Musings. I love the gorgeous winter Canadian pics! Makes me lonely for my homeland.

Jenn...that is sooooo much snow! I love the pictures though!

I'm sorry about your local store. For what it's worth (nothing really) Target is the only big box store I can stand to shop in. But of course it's still just as hard on the Mom and Pops as every other big box store.

You have amazing piles of snow from the road and parking lot cleaning.
Our Zellers was gone in Nov. and the Target will be open in a couple of months.

Lovely winter skies and photos. Target seems to be a popular store here. Have a happy weekend!

That is a lot of snow! I can't imagine living there. I enjoy seeing photos of your cats, too!
Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog. You asked if all my flower photos were made now in February - yes, those plants are very cold-tolerant. Though the days are mild, we still have below freezing temperatures at night.
