Rainfall update for September

We had a total rainfall for August of 1.7mm. Truly.
Perth was like a stone in the river, as hubby says. The clouds came but the rain fell around us – not on us.

I'm keeping occupied,
housebound with bronchitis,
recording rainfall data!
What a change in the weather:
164.5mm so far this month!
It is too late for many trees: they've begun changing colours.

Unhappy gray tree frogs (freezing: 4 C. one morning) and busy butterflies (Black Swallowtail) and caterpillars (Milkweed Tussock Moth larvae!).

Don't touch that one! He looks spikey! We are having pretty cool weather here too...leaving in the morning for a weekend of camping in the RV, so we are hoping for a little warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

somehow things adjust and change and survive. we just sit there and grump. so I guess we don't change.

Thanks for your visit. We had some nice rain just this week. It was very welcome and cooled our temps!

Lovely post, even if too bad that the rain was sorta' too late. Hope your bronchitis is better by now......

I love your new header shot!
