August roadkill: two raccoon kits, one beaver, one large porcuine.
We keep scraping them up off of the pavement: a ground hog, deer. MNR won't remove them.

Why did the turtle cross the road? Most to lay eggs. She was alive and snapping. I put her in the ditch. The vultures hovered.
