Plus ça change

plus c'est la même chose ...
Easter weekend was glorious. The sky was blue. No grumpies in the coffee shops and post office. The sky was blue, the wind blew, and the water was poured.

Our granddaughter sat on the deck and sipped her juice, while crayoning happily.

A picnic on the deck, playtime in the water.
then a well-made lasagna for all.
It doesn't get any better than this!
I knew it would come to an end.
Weather-addict hubby forecast it.
And we had the snow tires taken off of the car...

Poor old Bob IV (or is he Bob V?), covered in teency-weency hailstones. And snow flurries all day. (His job is to hold down the BBQ cover in high winds. He's doing a fine job.)

The green pines look happy, the fragrant cedar more than pleased with the previous days rain,

but the deck...
Yes, we have rain this week. But, no, this is not all we have had.

For skywatch Friday (can't see the sky!), a bit late due to volunteer work with Expressive Art Therapist Elke Scholz ...see the photo slide show!

Your sky looks like the same here in MI, it is gloomy today and this morning we had a little bit of hail. Hope it won't snow!! Happy weekend!

Your Easter does indeed sound like it was grand!
Hopefully you will see sun again soon.

Glad to know we weren't the only family having Lasagna for Easter dinner!

Love the shot of the gargoyle and thankfully,(hopefully?) we've finished with snow for this year in the Ottawa Valley!

LOL--Bob IV doesn't seem to mind the hail. I like naming decorative inanimate creatures, too. I have a concrete turtle on my front porch namd Tertullian. He guards my potted plants on the porch.

Oh this fickle spring weather! Maybe by late May you won't have any more hail or snow for a few months.

Belated happy Easter. We had a nice family day in town with Mom and then went up to the cabin for the week. We had winds, rain and some belated snow. Tomorrow we are going to take the ATVs to see if we can find some of the snow before the season ends. - Margy
