another sleepless night
the dark before the dawn
worries, fears and sorrows haunting the shadows
they sit lurking in the corner
bedside lamp banishes the ghosts
dawn arrives
sun´s soothing fingers massages the corners of my aching room
ghosts flee as the grace of daily obligation calls
cat burrows deeper into blankets

Lovely words and amazing photo. I call that a "Maxfield Parrish sky". It shows a beautiful time of day, just between dark and light.
