I take a trash bag or two out at least once in the spring and then again in the fall. It always makes me mad that people feel free to throw trash out their car windows. And some of the things you can pick up...good grief.
No guilt, Yogi! Just don't throw stuff out of the car window. Good for you, Olga. I know some of this stuff is from placing something on one's roof, but the number of beer cans was phenomenal... and a whole recycling blue box full of plastic water bottles. Crazy.
Lets see, I blue box, yellow box, have two composters and am happy to say two weeks worth of "other" amounts to less than a plastic grocery bag. O and I use my own bags for shopping. Always have, always will. I could never understand why people toss it out a vehicle. Save it til you arrive home, geeez
