haiku

I can write; haiku?
There is a pet haiku contest, May 22.
My friend, Derrick, has been working. I must admit I have been playing. To that end, I decided to try another haiku.

They are tricky, with delicate rules.




spring sings in my world
brilliant petals painted bright--
black flies enter formation
