Saturday's Critters

I will begin with a mystery bug. I've posted this all over social media, but no one seems to know what it is! Another critter made a cocoon. This bug came to visit. It was there from 8 a.m. and laying until 5 p.m. I'd think it was something related to the aphids or leaf hoppers, but I don't know.

Someone on iNaturalist says it is an arthropod.

I sped this up 8x, thinking it was laying eggs. It has stopped and moved off about 20 cm.

OK, back to the regulars!

The 2 coyotes kept on going until they reached the second camera! The deer came by later.

This is a sort of lesson in planting trailcameras! Don't have it face west! Usually south is best. (Unless you want a pretty scene!)

Silly Fred was checking out the exit it'd created. I blocked it on him! Something tells me he isn't a 'she!'

Fred's balance is to be lauded!

This is what you get when you cannot be bothered to change the time back to the correct time after you fiddled with batteries! iMovie allows one to put in the date and time automatically, which is great, if the time is correct. 😃

Tree frogs are singing - mystery bug, too.

The gray tree frogs are chittering away in the trees. I'm not sure why!
Mating season is over. They start up in the fall, despite mating season being over. You can hear him in the video below.

In the meantime, there is a bug that bugs me. I don't know what it is. Perhaps a June bug???? Bug experts, please tell me!

In the dark, in the Hop bine, I could hear a noise. I'm not sure what it is.
Any thoughts, my nature nut friends?!
