Family Day in Ontario

I did Facetime with our Ottawa kids and our Vancouver kids!

⛷️Jesse's girls roared off, eventually bored with our conversation. They've mostly settled into their new home. They have been skiing regularly, Jesse teaches the littles. He's doing a 15 km race in 'Master's' level. It's great fun.

From there it was an Olympic marathon for us! We watched figure skating. It is so pretty, most of the time. I told Joe, I'd be afraid of someone chucking me up in the air like that. Good thing none of them could lift me! 😆

Standing on tippy toes!

I love the snow on their faces on a stormy day.

You can see how the coyotes stick to the paths. It's much easier trotting. Still, he kicks up some snow as he trots.

I was on my way to the frog pond trailcam, and forgot about this camera trap.

I like the coyotes in the dark.

I loved the Canadian skaters who took third in ice dancing and really enjoyed last night till I had to crash out. I think I still had too much anesthetic in me! I just love your family day!

I am not seeing as much of the Os as I would like... just the way the telly schedule is working here. Today the sun came out and I had my first walk outside for 2026... YAM xx

FaceTimes are always fun with the family. Super videos too. We have been getting regular commentaries from our son about the Olympics. He is watching it more than we are this time.

I've been enjoying the Olympics, too. I'm disappointed it's almost over. The deer look like they are playing around with each other.

I've never seen a coyote in person.

Funny how the younger deer learned that plucking limbs causes snow bops in your face. Linda in Kansas
