We've warmed up! It's -8 ℃. and I survived putting out the garbage at 6:30. It's Family Day here in Ontario. Provincial stores are closed, or have limited hours. Amazingly, we were at 5 ℃. on Valentine's Day. The sun feels warmer.
Jordan is home from Uni, and they cooked for themselves while the parental unit went out on date night.
Out west, atop a mountain, Cluny had a race. This was Jan. 25th. Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club
A new week begins, we approach spring. The worst is nearly over. I content myself with feeding the birds.

I saw a finch this morning from a distance. No feed is allowed here at the apartments. That’s why I love yours.!

Lovely record of a fine and fun weekend. We, also, are feeding birds. The woodpeckers, two pairs for sure and maybe more, are really whacking up the suet balls. they had their work cut out for them in the cold snap, but now it may go to +1 today and the small birds will do better.
With all our modern technology you can see what families are doing world wide, and sharing with us, I too feel I am enjoying all your winter snow, sports and more.

Super to see your family enjoying themselves. Very impressed Aster built her own guitar and she plays beautifully. Was that her dad's voice at the end? He has a very calming one, and very sweet to hear them interact in that moment caught on video. We are having higher temperatures here too, but hubs just told me we may have 6 inches of snow on Saturday. I love it thatyou actually have a holiday called Family Day. It's really fun seeing these photos. Loving the family pix and of course the birds. Rick would like to be right there skiing along with them!
Fun times with your active and talented grandchildren. It's so much fun to see them grow into the people they were meant to be.
