This is how it began! If you watch to the end, you'll see Fred Grounhog's burrow, she's sound asleep.
Nutmeg didn't last long!
It was a lovely snowfall. Until it warmed up! A lot of it has melted.

So very pretty and it looks like Fred might be warm and comfy in place for the winter. Would you believe that here in Texas just a couple nights ago, we were able to see the Northern lights. Pinks and greens all across the sky. The snow looks so pretty...Stay warm Jenn..
You really got nailed with the snow! Rick would be in seventh heaven!
Cool to see the green northern lights/aurora. Most photos I've seen from further south have showed the red ones.
We have had clouds so no northern lights for me. You were lucky.
I absolutely loved seeing this, not just the images, but all the little sounds in the videos. The snow, the footsteps, your voice, that soft winter (fall) quiet, it felt magical. And then the Northern Lights on top of it all, what a nice moment. I can almost feel how special it must have been. 💚✨ Thank you Jenn!!!
"I shook them off, and they rose up. It's a miracle!"
I foresee audiences of thousands attending your crusades.
The first snow is always magical. How lucky to see the aurora borealis - it was cloudy here. We could have driven to the beach to see it, as some did, but stayed cozy at home instead.
Many people in my state saw the aurora borealis as well but not us. :(
It's so interesting that your lights were green, while ours were red. I wonder why. Wasn't it a treat to know they were up there even though we couldn't see them without the phone?
Beautiful captures of the aurora borealis!
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
Oh you got some good pictures of the Northern Lights. Love all the snow.

Proper snow is very pretty... I would have loved to see the borealis show, but we've had constant cloud cover and driving rain... sigh... YAM xx
Well here in the UK many of us have had a lot of rain today!
Thank you for all the photographs you've shared.
All the best Jan
Great you could capture it. Our snow is not melting fast enough to suit me. We have plus 2 or 3 max temperatures forecast as well. November snow is not supposed to stay. And the turkeys have vanished with the snow. We were getting a parade every day and have not had one since the big fall on Monday.
I did not see the northern lights. I guess I'm too impatient.
