Firstly, we had our furnace and A/C inspected, in order to keep our warranty. Sadly, we were 'red ticketed!' There is a crack in something that could lead to death and destruction. Our serviceman was apologetic! He texted his boss, who found out we are still under warranty. Parts and labour will be covered. They will ordered the part, install it and unticket it! At least the A/C is OK.
🐀 Fred had a close call! the other day. She birthed four kits, the coyotes took two, and another one seems to have disappeared. I spotted him on the driveway, running 📹. Twice. It's a mystery. He could be elsewhere, or food for critters.
I've been looking up at how often the fox visits. June 25th in the night. (Freds are sleeping!)
We tend to hang out on the back deck, once it is in the shade. The fox ran by June 26th. Cinnamon watched from the deck. Quite concerned.

The fox must love your place, finding lots of food to eat.
I am glad your furnace is still under the warranty.
Take care, have a great day and happy week ahead.
I'm glad to hear that your air conditioning isn't tied into the service issue.
A fox by any other name...no not a poet here. Just aware that a carnivore is using your quiet territory...as well as the coyotes. Sorry to hear of loss of the little groundhogs. They are pretty big too!
I know that fox has got to eat but I wish he'd go eat someplace else.
Cinnamon! I'm so glad kitty is ok.
That is scary having the fox around. The cats have to be alert!
Loved that yell!
Sounds like dangerous adventures for all out there! Linda in Kansas
Wow on the ticketing. They do things differently in Canada than the states. Seems to be a good thing.
You seem to be a magnet for that fox. It knows where to go when it wants food, I suspect.
Excellent news about the furnace. I hope it can be repaired quickly. I do hope the other Fredette reappears.
And then you might have more than one sneaky fox visiting you.
Pleased your A/C is ok.
All the best Jan
Good to see you are still under warranty. Very sad about your little fredlets. Wish it wasn't so. You certainly see the cycle of life there. I enjoy seeing our foxes but sometimes forget the consequences of their arrival and that they are predatory animals.
Nature is cruel sometimes. I bet that Fox has kits to feed.
