Bird watching; border watching

First, let me get this off my chest. Americans are being lied to!

Sadly, this will have an impact on all of us. I feel badly for all the good people they are trying to get rid of in government. This is such a mess.

Despite spending years on the trilateral trade agreement during his last term, the new NAFTA, it's a trade war on a trusted ally and friend.

To start, Canada will slap 25 per cent tariffs on $30 billion worth of American goods coming into Canada as of Tuesday. The tariffs will then be applied to another $125 billion worth of American imports in three weeks' time.

🐦The poor birdies! They dug out the feeders pretty well. I could have donned my parka and cleaned it, but I chose not to! I had faith in them. The Mourning Doves are excellent at this.

This photo, below, has both the male and female cardinals.

Mama bear is losing her sparkle! It was a gift for Grampa. In the cold and dark, it is good to see lights.

We've four turkeys!

Our Ottawa kids went skating on the canal, and had beaver tails! Beaver Tails are a sort of flat donut with cinnamon, or other things on top. The Winterlude Festival begins.

Today starts off with a bit of a chill in the air. We've snow on the way, as well.
