With the snow melt, and the Spring-like temperatures, I asked Cinnamon if he wanted 'WALKIES?' Of course he did!
He wasn't sure where he wanted to go. We ended up going down to the frog pond.
The meadow is open but the forest is warmer, where the trees gather the sun up and hoards it for its benefit. The snow loss is profound.
I love being able to see through the trees to see the greens in the wetland.
The frog pond is quite wet. The native phragmities seem to think it is spring. There is a layer of ice under the rainfall.
I was going to take a photo for a non-mental note to remind me to clean out this wood duck nesting box. Then I spotted a tail wagging. He climbed up a leaning branch, and hoofed it up the tree. Can you see his hind quarters?!
Next, he thought he'd peek in under the baffling, which I have to reattach. Another non-mental note. I always remember these maintenance chores when I see them, but forget my tools.
My afternoon movie: Love in Zion National: A National Park Romance. Its scenery was amazing. I kept thinking of Gaelyn, and her time as a park ranger. She has lots of photos like of the scenery at Zion.
Nutmeg tried to watch the movie, but her silly brother, Cinnamon, tried to fit. Did she ever give him a dirty look!
This was the action. He really didn't fit well. We laughed.

Now the snow is back.
I like that the two cats are so darned cute together. And that you can do walkies together!
Cute photos of your kitty. I do not know many people that take their cats for walks. Take care, have a wonderful day!
Oh Cinnamon, thanks for the laughs! I loved the shot of the wetlands with all the trees reflected on the water.
It is VERY white here. We got sticky, wet snow yesterday. Batten down the hatches, we're in for a steep temperature drop starting tomorrow!
Loved sharing the walk with you and Cinnamon. And cats epitomise if I fit I sits (even when they don't).
Nutmeg was not happy! Your snow is almost gone, oh well the Winter will be back:)
