Honk if you love spring!

The pond is so full of life. It's an amazing biodome.

🐤WOOD DUCKS
Box #1 was the 2nd one to be filled. Hatch day May 30th.
Box #2 is due to hatch around June 5th.
Box #3 is the earliest to have been laid. They are due to hatch May 21st or so.

We first discovered them Mother's Day when all of us went down to the frog pond. We've not seen Canada Geese down here before.

I've found that they land on the meadow, then walk over to the pond. Captured here on the trailcam.

They have hung around, and she sat on the dock watching the ducks for awhile.

At the end of this, it seems as if a third goose was chased away.

The frog pond is a busy spot.

Chickadee keeps coming back for nesting materials.

You help by keeping a healthy environment in the wetland and the critters love you for it.
