Should have stayed home

Noticed my goldfish pond was leaking
I have a tale of woe
Progress I cannot show
I dug and heaved with shovel
Nada for all my trouble

Worked at it all day
No time for cats to play
Removed the sides and added gravel
Fingernails they did unravel

You see my pond doth leak
By mice and things which squeak
Undug, repaired, reglued the tear
My back it is the worse for wear

Repaired the holes with patches
One, nay two, –oh batches
Refilled, stepped back to see
I cried, oh woe is me
I am afraid it is hopeless

Nicks they are beyond repair
Too wet, too many bites on there
Felines four, I do adore
What's up with doofy mice galore?

And down the water goes again

Bummer! At least your sense of humor is intact.

I admire your hard work! When mice can defeat you I have my doubts about other things? I think these pools are very valuable so keep at it even if you have to replace the whole liner.

oh dear, looks like a new pond is in order! And so you have a talent for poetry, at last one that I can understand!

In technical terms your containment is breached. Call the feds and go directly to jail.
