Day trip: March 23rd Part 1

We took a little drive! We knew it was the last sunny day for a few days. Off we went to see if we could find some birds.

Hubby twisted his back, and my knee is now yellow and green with bruising, so we thought a drive might be nice.

  2. Narrows Lock Rd.: Geese and construction
  3. Westport

What I like about this in-between season, is that you can see the pretty homes. This one had two cool sculptures!

The deer were evident ins several places. You must be watchful.

Haha, maybe my first comment is saved? It just vanished, so if there are 2, and this one, please delete any surplus ones.

I like a drive by trip every so often....especially when you have good reasons to 'sit and see' like you both did. Interesting to see all the work on the locks ... do I understand correctly that this is all for pleasure boating nowadays? Hope you're both feeling better.

That looks like such a nice spring drive. I miss being able to do that on Oahu.

I like this season too before the leaves come out all the way. Driving north on the Sunshine Coast to Powell River you can see more lakes and ocean views. The road isn't that far from the coast in many places, but the large trees lining the street make views hard to get. - Margy
