Here were are: Richmond Fair, Sept. 14th - 17th. Richmond has a long farming and 4-H history. The town will be 200 years old. For Canada, this is a long history.
While the food booths and rides weren't open, we were there to see the horses.

At 10 a.m., some were just getting set up! Sadly, there were long line-ups of families waiting to buy tickets for the rides. Only one booth was open. Most of the rides had not started up yet. Someone, misread the eagerness. I passed two pairs of people, ready to set up the other two tickets booths.
This is a favourite spot: the food. I had some bacon on a bun for brekkie. Hubby wanted to get there in time for me to get back for the Bear Wise Seminar in Perth.
I like beaver tails. Sadly, there are far too many calories. Ontario requires restaurants to post calories.
