Avast me hearties! Landlubbers, Ho!

Frosty morning
I was worried. The day started out rather briskly. But the sun warmed us all. My girls were to visit today. A rough night with an infant teething, nice day for a change of pace. I'd forgotten!

After feeding the deer, and playing, we went down to Coutts Bay Rd. to see the marina. Gramma and Grampa had found a special ship. It took a couple of maps, and Google Earth, but I found the road.

There was lots of action at this marina. This man (above) was covering up his boat. We spotted others putting boats up on dry land. Finally, the highlight of the event: a pirate ship.

Josephine was rather thrilled.

She loves tractors, and there were several hauling the boats out of the water. There was an employee driving a boat up onto a boat trailer. I have duly posted the videos for her!

Spotted it from the road!

Not so pirate, but they make themselves at home!

Jofee was so happy to see this. She loves big equipment and machines. We saw a boat going up a ramped boat trailer.

Surprise for a little girl. A 'pirate ship' for a wee girl who loves pirates and wears a patch every day.
