Almonte, Mississippi Mills, the Falls

There is nothing better than the sound of water. A few posts ago, I featured the Tay River in Perth. This past week it was Almonte and its Riverwalk by the old mill.
With overnight temperatures of -25 C., the ice covers the foliage.

  Almonte, Ontario, is a former mill town located in Lanark County, in the eastern portion of Ontario, Canada. Formerly a separate municipality, Almonte is now a ward of the town of Mississippi Mills.


This day, whilst visiting Almonte, I made a video after a visit for lunch at Cafe Postino. The sound of the rushing water...
