North Frontenac Studio Tour: Part 5

North Frontenac Studio Tour I've broken this up, as I went mad with photos. Besides, the season is so short, and seems nearly finished here.

This was another stop, #17 Snow Road Community Hall. There were several artists there, but we aren't in the market for paintings. It was a very pretty locale.

Back Forty Artisan Cheese 25 yrs old! Studio visit #18

They have artisan cheese, of course, chickens, an apple orchard, and a cafe.

You'll note the huge fencing, many critters like apples!

A highland cow in the field.

The cafe looks out over the river. Everyone was sitting around sipping wine, eating meals.

Thing is the no-see-ums were everywhere. They are irritating things, and we have them at home. At least they don't bite.

Cole Creek Maple Co.

I cannot show you what we bought! (They are gifts!) I'm not comfortable posting artisan's work, as it could be copied.

I love the turkeys and the chickens. The Autumn colors are looking beautiful there. We are still mostly green here. Take care, have a great week ahead.

Had to stretch my eyes to see the cow in the field...but I'm sure your memory of seeing it is better anyway. Love seeing all the brilliant colors!

It was certainly a good time to travel the backroads.
