Camera Critters

It is that time of year. The cats have finally acclimatized to the cold temperatures.

They realize that there are days when it is better to be indoors.

Or in drawers!
They vie to be top dog. Oliver won this one...

We have been out on the lake with our snowshoes, and feel comfortable that the ice is thick enough. Oliver is a bit slower that his sister.

He wants to wait and see what happens.
Sady is first out. But she is the older, wiser pro.

Then Ollie follows.
There are consequences:
a girl can't stand ice between her toes! At the point when the snowmobiles scream by,

that's time to run. She's a clever cat!
She heads for the tree.

A beautiful day outdoors.

Embrace winter!Camera Critters Our critters do!

Our cats hate the snow. Which is good, we keep them inside. One of our dogs loves it and will stay out for hours. The other runs outside, does her thing, updates her barkbook status and then runs back in.

Beautiful shots! Our cats are indoor cats - I don't think they'd enjoy the snow. Three of our dogs love frolicking in the snow but the oldest simply walks in it.

Fantastic shots and your kitties are beautiful. So cute to see them in the vast expanse of snow. :O)

Great wintry shots Jenn. I notice you have sunshine in your part of Ontario too.
Hope your cat came down from the tree to return to warmth and coziness.
Congrats on selling some of your books.
