We made it to Friday, again. Bitterly cold outside, I realized I could draw a warmer scene!
I noticed I have cracks in my bird bath, just above the water line. It's way too cold to do anything about it, though.
This is a scene I'd like to sketch. Perhaps next week!

Yes, we're back into the deep[er] freeze for two days. I hope all of your appliances keep you comfy.
Beautiful colourful piece, you are improving so much Jenn! That photo is beautiful, look forward to your artistic interpretation of it.
That really is some dangerously cold weather! I hope you don't need to get out for anything. Stay warm and safe! Love your sweet drawing! Hugs!
Oh my, and I thought is was bitter cold here in PA-yikes! Delightful drawing and way to feel warm and the promise of summer. Happy PPF and happy New year too!
Your lovely colored drawing is in sharp contrast to the reality outside: grey sky, white snow, frozen water, bare trees. Its colors are warm, the outdoors is freezingly cold. Snow has a beauty of its own, and you, no doubt, will find the right way to make a great sketch of it.
Quite whimsical, and I like that sky shot. I noticed earlier that the temperatures were at that level. It feels like it's gone down more since.
Your Canadian ice and snow scenes made it too UK TV news. Guess you'd rather they hadn't. Stay safe.

I love your cheerful painting; warm smiles! It's starting to bite in here too, that vortex. Am away at a blogpal's for a trip to the Cairngorms. This could get interesting... YAM xx
Better drawing than outside freezing your butt off.
What a cheerful, fun sketch and what we all need ..at least those of us stuck in this horrible winter blast. I thought we were cold at 4 degrees but I guess I will take that over yours.
It's so cold it's a wonder we don't crack!
Hope the bird bath holds up through winter!
Great piece and just way too cold.
Oh my gosh! You poor Canadians! It's definitely colder by you than in Chicago. I'll have to tell my daughter.
