How can a day start out like this and then we do not get rain?! This was Tuesday. We have not had rain in a few weeks.
I want to play Watery Wednesday...
The skies are reflected in the blue of the water. It is glorious.
But the trees are so dry that they are changing colour.
The sumac is brilliant. The deciduous trees yellow.

This whole weekend was like that but we never got a drop of rain.
Sometimes the skies just tease us. Could be the change of seasons.

What lovely outdoor watery views! It's been months and months since we've had any rain here in Southern California no matter WHAT the sky looks like and it doesn't look like there's going to be rain any time soon. In fact, they're predicting a heat wave over the next week. Such is life. Thanks for dropping by Sacred Ruminations earlier this week. I'm playing 'catch up' this evening.
