I bought me a new trailcam stand with a gift certificate. Thanks, Caitlin!
What I ended up with was some great shots of fireflies... as well as the Imperial Moths.
I've no need for defences against the bears. They just amble by. The bird feed is in. The garbage and yummy things are locked in the garage. If they wander about and there is no food they get the message. This one has a bad limp. I feel badly. I haven't seen it since June 15.

Poor bear.
This looks like a good size bear. Jenn, you all have such a huge array of different kinds of critters...even a lightning bug...I haven't see one in years.
You lead a life deep in nature.
That bear looks huge compared to the small black bears here. I'm missed Crumbly Acres my friend!
Poor ol' bear. I love the video of the deer - what a beautiful spot in the garden!
I have never seen a firefly.
Hello,
I love all your critters, the moth, the deer and the bear. They are all wonderful captures. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!
Your imperial moth is a real beauty and I am always fascinated by what appears in your videos, also your photos. I am sending healing vibes for that bad limp to go away.
I got to hear your fountain and the traffic in the first shot. I seldom leave the sound up like that.
It's so cool to see all the wildlife you have near you.
Sad for the bear. I hope the pregnant deer makes it. Beavers are very clever.
Most people would miss these critters as they don't have a camera set up.
Gosh, I'm glad your bears only want food and give up. Pretty sure that's not Paddington. Linda in Kansas
