Crumbly Acres Freds

This is the last video, for now, of the 3 squirrels. I won't be able to tell who they are. Reluctant to wear name tags...

Joe Brian had 3 ripe-ish tomatoes. I grow cherry tomatoes because I can hang the baskets, and critters don't get them. Until I'm not careful. I'd left them on the bench and neglected to hang them over night.

I've been working on this fence. You'll notice the stakes are leaning. That's not how we put them in! I know who I blame!

Apparently, Fred likes petunias and pansies, but not lobelia! They chopped off a milkweed bloom and I can't imagine how they like milkweed.

I was inside, and heard scratching at the window. Something was trying to climb up it. Later I noticed them just running up the steps. No wonder my fine fence doesn't keep them out.

It is difficult to scold them! We moved into their territory. Besides they are teenagers and don't listen at all.

Fred is a Curtain Climber! I found one on top of the wood pile. They have been playing here. They didn't knock the pile askew this week.

  3. I never new Fred-types could climb! Going up the steps makes me laugh and that woodpile is pretty forbidding. Lucky you with tomatoes already. I have flower buds.

  4. Hello,
Great photos, I always enjoy your deer and Fred images.
Recently I was surprised to see a squirrel running off my deck with one of our blooms from our deck plant. Take care, enjoy your day and happy week ahead.

  5. For a while when I was little I had a desert tortoise as a pet (it was legal then). He (she?) would walk out from the back yard to the side yard. On the way he would take a bite of the pansies, hence his name Pansy. One day someone stole him out of the side yard. I know he didn't run away because there wasn't a place to go under the fence. It was a sad day for little Margy.

  6. With all the different critters there , it must be difficult to find somebody to blame.

  7. If you can catch the squirrels and use little cat collars with pet tags you might get them their names. I think your critters saw a sign that said "Free produce and plants." Linda in Kansas
