Embrace the snow!

I am celebrating the snow because soon it will be gone! Embracing the last of winter since March 20 will bring us official Spring. In the meantime we are in Meteorological Spring. The sun is warmer. I noticed two of the turkeys huddling on the fence. I didn't know if there was one or two until I zoomed in!
The wood soaks up the warmth of the sun. Better than sitting on the cold snow.

The trio waddle along. They really are funny.

This makes me think of children. It is far easier walking on the driveway, but turkey #3 tromps through snow.

Out west, our family goes to the mountains to enjoy the snow. Jesse, Cluny, and Bryony had races. Jesse went 15 km in his race. Great fun. Thanks to my DIL for photos. The scenery is amazing.

I had to go into town since my P.A., AKA personal shopper, has the 100-day cough. I even gassed up the car. I should have done it before WW III began, since gas prices are going up, but we are really only driving the 5 km into town these days.
Another benefit from COVID is online grocery orders.

This is what town looked like! The snow has melted some thankfully.

I picked up two orders of Jambalaya Pasta for us. We'll keep our germs at home. Tuesdays are half-price pasta day, and this gives us two meals each. Tonight it is home made meatloaf.

Turkeys! They will get quite vocal here in April! I had to rush through your blog this morning as the 'kids' kept getting my attention.

Your town looks so pretty. But a tight squeeze for that big truck!
Jambalaya pasta? Wow, that sounds incredible. I miss shrimp, but Larry is very allergic to shellfish so I don't eat it either. Except on rare occasions when he's not around!
Stay warm, Jenn! BTW, I am a big fan of murder mysteries too. Love the Midsomer Murders series

Was that pasta from Independent or elsewhere? I don't think our YIG does that.

Yes,WW3 will have long reaching effects all over, down here already so many are queuing to get petrol before the price escalates!!! we have had snow on the tops both north and south. Firewood is stored, next load next week.

I agree about the delivery services being a benefit from "THAT" year. And honestly wonder how long it will be before one happens again (and for that matter whether he world will still be standing). I'm glad to find you again after a long absence from blogging from which I'm trying to catch up. Sorry to hear your "PA"/Personal shopper is a bit germ-ridden right now. Get well soon! My personal travel planner/shopper is fine at the moment although we have been staying close to home as various germs and viruses are floating around our snowbird park.

It looks a very nice town, good idea to eat at home. Seeing your turkeys was a treat and very nice to see your family enjoying their time in the mountains.

You got lots of snow. Seeing those turkeys reminded me of when I lived in Missouri. They ran wild there.

The turkeys look like they were fun to watch. Enjoy the snow while you can! We didn't see even one flake out our way this year, although one day the rain was a bit thick!
The pasta looks yummy. Nothing like returning from a shopping trip with dinner done!

Well, I'm glad someone is embracing the snow. It's not me! But that jambalaya -- I'd embrace that any day!
