๐Ÿ‘‘ Crown and Pumpkin Arts Tour๐ŸŽƒ Part 1

๐Ÿ‘‘Crown & Pumpkin Arts Tour๐ŸŽƒ

We were headed to Clayton. There are places to see in Almonte, as well, but we like the character of the Clayton places and you can only do so much.

It was a 45-minute drive, with lots of scenery. I was happy it wasn't too bright out, as my cataract makes my vision cloudy enough. It's like looking out the front window on a cold, frosty day, with the sun creating a glare.

It was quite a jaunt!

The first spot

The front porch had a friend.

At this point, it dumped rain! We carried on.

Hubby spotted some deer, We turned around and went back. The signage is always great for this event. (We were there last year!)

Deer munching fallen apples!

And onward...

Spot #3 had several people showing their work, as did most of them.

This home is incredibly interesting.

We went across the street.

The cat is a friendly sweetie. As I petted her, I could feel engorged ticks on her. I asked her daddy if he knew. He said he ought to do something about it. I said I could remove them, if he wanted. I said all I needed was a pair of tweezers. I removed two. I told them about the tick meds we give our cats.

The general store is much fun.

This was a hoot. The sign says 'ALPHA MALE YARD SALE!'

A wonderful day for a bike ride.

  3. I'll bet that tabby was very glad you removed the ticks. Suddenly, after a tick free year here, I had to remove two off my cat this week. I'm always amazed how still she keeps for me while I pull them off.

  4. A lovely set of shots, but the cat is my favourite.

  6. I haven't done that tour in a long time, the spring one too.

Let's try to get together for coffee when you;re in CP. Maybe we can finally make it work. In general, afternoons are better than mornings with Tuesday and Wednesday mornings being the worst times.
