Then, there is Hooper. He is celebrating Passover. I accidentally dropped one of these kosher, organic, gluten free crackers. He ate it up.
He's a busy kitten. Featured on both trailcams.
He's not the only one.
The skunk has been relieving our lawn of grubs. The lawn is slowly thawing out. This is a good sign.
Finally, here I am, fetching wood in the rain! This was our 24 mm/1" of rain, snow, sleet and hail, followed by more snow!
We weren't all that far off our record low, Thursday. |
We have skunk issues as well. They can really rip up a lawn! -Jenn
ReplyDeletePerhaps the crackers in the picture are kosher, but not kosher for Passover. That's a different level. I've had the 'kosher for Passover' for a whole week and I still have some left to last for another week. At least, they're not as fattening as the matzot (flat, unleavened bread eaten on Passover), having lees calories.
ReplyDeleteCute drawing, as usual.
There is so much to learn, Duta. Thanks for the clarification!

ReplyDeleteHooper the handsome - and every-hungry! you capture his presence really well, Jenn. YAM xx
My Kitty used to eat everything when she was young, but later she had tooth problems. Your cat seems to be very active. Have a great weekend, happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLovely sketch Jenn! Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteYour picture is so cute, and your drawing even better! It made me laugh. And my goodness--your photos! SO many critters in your back yard in the snow. That was amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove the kitty creation and awesome photos too!

What a sweet drawing 🐦
ReplyDeleteHappy PPF 🌼
marvelous illustration, and something my dogs all would do if anything dropped:) Fun photos-but that snow -ugh!! At this point I'd welcome seeing a skunk knowing the weather would be warming up. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteHooper is a wonderful model, and so busy out there. Glad the skunks do some good when they visit.
ReplyDeleteThe mice getting past the cat is a funny touch in your work!
ReplyDeleteJust be careful not to startle skunks!
Lovely drawing
ReplyDeleteThawing out...hope green arrives soon!
ReplyDeleteThe cat art is great.
Such cute drawings. Can't beat cats. :) Great photos, too.
ReplyDeleteYes, you certainly have more than kitty activity in your neck of the woods!! I think if I saw what wanders through at night, I'd be reluctant to wander in during the day...LOL!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteAck on the skunk...and the snow:) Hope you are warmer soon:)_
ReplyDeleteHooper is adorable, and I love your painting of him!
ReplyDeleteApparently raccoons will mess up a lawn too as they go after insects. Or maybe that's what's messing up the lawn rather than skunks.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite art work yet, Jennifer. Hopper and mouse friends are cute subjects. You have a rich variety of night life in your patch. Yay for trail cams!
ReplyDeleteLovely art, pretty kitty, and if you think skunks rip up the yard try raccoons. Have a great weekend.
