The day begins.
Soon they shall sleep. Here are the two bullfrogs in the goldfish pond. I'll have to move them soonish.
Our bullfrog is growing, despite its left eye.
Last year, I snapped a photo of the bullfrog catching ants. Isn't that an impressive tongue?!
Can you see the tree frog on the wall?! Grand little bug eaters. Adorable, too!
It seems we have a resident garden toad! Still here.A nymph vs. adult, they have fulfilled their life cycle this year!

You have this amazing wildlife world and it fascinates me.

ReplyDeleteWhat is that thing, the toe biter?
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the lily pads... I've never actually seen a frog sitting on one. Nature is truly amazing
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a toe biter in person. Weird looking bug. Love the frogs though.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Jenn! You have a good eye. Like those frogs.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a little boy’d dream spot!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to take a look at the Katydids around here.

ReplyDeleteA lovely look at the small and often unnoticed... YAM xx
Hannah loves to play with these critters if they show up on the porch. She picks them up and spits them out without harming them. She learned to avoid the stink bugs.
