Freds, Cinnamon, fox,

ICE Custody  🇺🇸

What a time for chaos! The cruelty is appalling. OK, rant over. Families divided across the border.

I sneak up on Fred to see what he is up to in Burrow 6A at the end of the deck! Just a furry ball in the sand.

He roars around to the back, to burrow #3.

They have an agreement, Cinnamon and MiniFred.

The fox has been very busy. Every other day if not daily. Well, nightly. She's after the Freds.

She does like the back yard and the leopard frogs.

MiniFred is putting on his winter weight.

We were sitting out back. I went in to do something. Peeking outside, I saw the fox in broad daylight!

She's been hanging around for a while.

This is the daffodil garden and the two trailcams.

Kids are back to school today.  It's pouring rain, they'll be happy to see friends. Aster is quite ready. Aster and their friend went to the 🌈PRIDE Ottawa march!

  1. The longer the detention, the more money is made.

  2. Absolutely insanity. This country is a mess. Boy, I hope the Freds are laying deep in the burrows when Freddie Fox comes along.

  4. I think I would get nothing done if I lived where you live. I’d be sitting outside all day long just watching all the activity going on.

  5. I'm struck by the photo of your garden bed, it looks so nice!

  6. My fox friend is around every night. Yesterday he made additional rounds in the early morning. Lots of leopard frogs to keep him fed and/or entertained. The big raccoon occasionally appears on camera with him too. They seem to ignore each other.

I adore Fred's 'rampart' lookout!!! He's on a total winner having been born on Crumbly Acres... but like others, I'm putting up prayers for Foxy to find other targets. YAM xx
