Come on , SPRING!

It is hard to believe, but this was me Feb. 21st! I sped up the video.

Poor Good Bunny Labbit! I scared her just looking out the window.

It looked like a rain storm Saturday, but all we had was 0.5 mm of rain. The snow is melty and awful to walk in. It is still knee-deep out back. We made it up to 8 ℃!

I had to sweep the sidewalk! I shoveled off the water and it dried and/or drained well.

9:30 | 2:30  and the next day, a skiff of snow!

This morning it is -11℃, and we had a skiff of snow.

🤧 Poor Joseph Brian, he has had this cough since December. 🤒 Thanks for your kind wishes. He phoned our physician Friday, and the earliest appointment he could get was for March 12th! That was 14 days away. I think it is just a cold. He has had this before. It lasted 6 months. All we could do was treat the symptoms. I feel so badly for him. He's doing Ventolin, antihistamines, but no fever, therefore no sign of bacterial infection. I did a pharmacy run for him.

We carry on.

Aster went with her Junior Band to Musicfest! At the same time Caitlin went to a Saturday choir rehearsal for their choir trip to the Baltics in June. She is on the far left, with her gorgeous red hair!

There were 19 deer!

  2. Doe is certain you put that bird seed in the wrong place for her to reach! Love the band photo...having a good time! I gave my pulmonologist a sputum sample which tested for some rare bacteria (no fevers but constant cough)...so am on antibiotics for it. Still will cough, but often the COPD hides other conditions.

  4. I counted 18 deer this morning in the yard. At least one of them had antlers, it was dark and hard to tell. I would love to have all that snow for a week just so I could get some burning done!

So many deer..I know this was a beautiful scene. You are in good shape..I don't think I would be able to shovel that much snow... Happy first day of March...Spring is on it's way

There's a lurgy here which has been named for what it is: The Hundred Day Cough. My siblings have all had it, but to date I have managed to avoid it. It's a tiring thing... sending healing vibes JBs way. YAM xx

  8. Poor JB, I'm sorry about his cough. That's so annoying and affects sleep. I didn't realize it was March until I saw the date on your post, remind me!

  10. You'd be amazed how many times I've said those words this year. C'mon spring! (Or maybe you wouldn't be!)

  11. Something spooked your deer in the last shot? Is there any chance the cough is from snow mold? My daughters used to get up to a three week mucus tease when the snow started to pull back, depending on the sun and how fast the melt went.
