2 fishers, geese

Two fishers came by, or was it the same one?!

The frog pond is frozen.

The wetland is beginning to thaw on the edges.

Up above, more signs of spring. The geese are returning in great overhead flights. Also a sun dog in the frame! It is glorious!

  1. a good capture of the sun dog. I've not ever seen one myself. Great seeing all the movement of the tracks on the ground. The critters are out moving around.

  3. I had to look up fishers! I'm afraid some of my nature knowledge is woefully inept!

  7. Fun to see the fisher and its tracks. Geese flying overhead is always a wonderful sight, though I have never seen such a huge flock.

  9. You must live on some connected habitat to have critters like fishers come by.
