It was disappointing, but very entertaining. The team doesn't have a lot of money, but they have heart.
The Blue Jays’ inspiring playoff run captured the imagination of Canadians. As the Jays advanced in the playoffs, Canadians came to believe in the power of positivity & unity. Let’s carry that spirit with us in the days, weeks, & months ahead as we face serious challenges as a nation. – Geoffrey P. Johnstone
We had rain for a couple of days last week. It's too bad for the kids going out to trick-or-treat. A total of 68.84 mm (2.61") over two days.
Non-mental note: fetch the ladder and clean out the leaves.
It's lovely when the sun is out, even if it is chilly.

I wasn’t watching but I was hoping.
ReplyDeleteCute kitties and I love the deer!
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and a happy week ahead.
The sun is shining bright here the day after the big disappointment.
ReplyDeleteA whole country is recovering from the Blue Jay loss sigh.
ReplyDelete...we had rain too, what a blessing. I wish you a Nifty November.
ReplyDeleteThe whole country got caught up with the Blue Jays. They lost a baseball game but they are still champions to all of us.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly did capture our imagination, didn't they. And they did win the ALC right?
ReplyDeleteNo snow here for Halloween night, nice for trick-or-treaters. Not that we ever get any out here.
ReplyDeleteI so wanted Canada to win, just to stick it in Trump's eye. Shoot.
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty where you live, Jenn. Lovely deer too. And kitties!
They were just so so tired. Heart they had, but, sadly, not quite enough. Admire those guys, and am impressed with what they said postgame.
ReplyDeleteWe had over three and a half inches of rain Thursday and early Friday, but it stopped, or at least slowed to blowing mist here, by T or T time.
I was sure the Blue Jays were the superior team and were going to win and I was excited about it! But then as the series wound on I didn't like Toronto less. Not at all, but I found that shohei and the dodgers were my choice at heart. I was amazed that they won! And thank you. Ontario for sharing those informative and 100% true adverts!
ReplyDeleteWe had rain both Thursday and Friday last week here in Montreal. Cinnamon is beautiful and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI was rooting for the Jays! Canada played well and so deserved to win. I'm still trying to figure out how the Jay got hit on the wrist when it seemed he raised his arm up. Glad the cleared benches didn't end in any fists flying. Uh, be careful (hire it out maybe,) when you do the possible gutter cleaning. Maybe? Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteI was crushed. It was a magnificent series. I like it when everyone plays well and always exciting with extra innings but oh, so heartbreaking when your team loses -- especially after such a fight. Love the video of the deer in the road.
ReplyDeleteThumbs up for rain ...
ReplyDeleteSorry about the Blue Jays.
All the best Jan
