I wrote this a few days ago, but since then we've had snow. I'm anxious to go down and see if they've uncovered it.
This buck scrape is being monitored. Three scrapes in a row!
There is another scrape, at a bush with branches hanging down. (Non-mental note!)
It was a nice walk.

| ↑2013, and now↓ look at that tree! |
I created a puzzle, now that the snow covers all the lovely leaves.

Joe looks in his element! For that matter, so does Nutmeg. Keep us posted on the deer.
ReplyDeleteIt is cold enough here to snow, none yet.
ReplyDeleteCute kitty, has a nice view out the window.
Take care, have a great day!
Tamaracks don’t turn back to green exactly. They drop their needles and grown new ones in the spring, like normal deciduous trees.
ReplyDelete...when I was in the nursery business, deer rubs were a HUGE problem!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to create a puzzle like that.
ReplyDeleteThe tree has had impressive growth! It looks gorgeous with snow on it.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter lives on the edge of town on 3 acres. They had two male deer locking horns in their back yard, close to the house. With two little ones, it was a bit unnerving. But enjoyable to watch.
ReplyDeleteWhat more could a man want lol...he looks mighty comfy!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't take one pic of the snow - it was too early and discouraging to see.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for videos of the deer. Loved the evergreen in the snow. And I'm surprised your Mr. doesn't have something to put his feet up on. That's part of my comfort status!
ReplyDeleteJenn - so happy to see that someone is getting snow! Our local ski resort is supposed to open in a month, and we are skeptical! The pine tree has grown so much - gorgeous, especially with the snow!
ReplyDeleteI love that you created a puzzle. How fun. Loved the pictures.
ReplyDeleteMany changes take place in the fall. You're on top of them.
ReplyDeletecreating the puzzle is a neat ideal. I've seen a lot of bucks on the move around here...big ones this year.
ReplyDeleteHello Jenn :)
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful place, and I would love to go for a walk in that woodland area. It must be very cold for you to get snow though, but your lounge looks warm and cosy.
All the best
Sonjia.
They are in full rut here as well. So much fun to watch them!
