Crumbly Acres is thawing

Jordan and Aster are on a university tour. Jo goes to university next year, Aster has a few years left. That said, Caitlin was on a girls' night, while Papa took the kids to a pub for dinner.

🪛And what is old Gramma getting up to? I was trying to fix the cold air intake for the furnace. The screws aren't holding any more. I saw a hack on TV. You either insert a golf tee or toothpicks into the hole. It gives the screws something to grip. I remembered to leave the battery charging. The drill was good. Poor Guinivere! With a high of 9℃ today, our eaves are full of melt water, which freezes overnight.

Somebody in my house has to switch our our red ribbons for green, for March. I'm not sure I have the will or the energy to clamber through this snow.

We'll see what today brings. I've scoured the camera, because when I put garbage out Monday morning, I spotted coyote tracks along the driveway. I could not find it.
