This is the last of the red maple leaves.
I put the garbage out Monday morning, and I'm happy I had these photos! The tree on the right is done. In the winds yesterday, these leaves were blowin' in the wind!
Out front, the doe has been hanging around. She's cleaned up the Hostas, which is fine, because they are wilting in the cool weather.
It's been sunny and balmy. Two more frogs have been relocated. I caught one, and left it in the bucket until I could get the other. It just hopped out and back into the goldfish pond. I caught it again, as well as this one.
Then, in the warmth and sun, another pair. I've moved 22.
Peek a boo deer! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteA couple hundred dollars every time they take off, or there abouts. Fuel is expensive these days.
I would love to fly over my area in one of those small planes. The leaves really took a beating in yesterdays wind. I can see the neighbours trailer behind my house now. :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty doe! So much frog moving, the leaves are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the shot of the doe!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any idea how expensive it is to fly but once in a while we get little planes overhead.
More often we get C-130s flying in tandem and at very low altitudes when Ft McCoy is doing practice runs.
All our reds turned brown overnight! Yesterday red and yellow.
Today brown and brownish.
The leaves are glorious. Well done on the froggy front.
ReplyDeleteThat deer picture is so cute!
ReplyDeleteNice of the deer to help you outwith the fall cleanup.
ReplyDeleteNice color and the deer is so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI like it all, but red is the best.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place and awesome shot.
ReplyDeleteIt used to be $16.00 an hour to fly small planes in 1967.
ReplyDeleteCool creatures!
ReplyDeleteLove the fall colors and beautiful trees. Cute frog too.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day!
