🍁 Happy October!

🚘 After some texting back and forth, me asking questions, luck bestowed... Jo can now drive to school!

He's on a G2, which means no alcohol, driving restricted to one passenger from midnight to 5 a.m. He's into a lot of extracurriculars (Yearbook, tech support, Leadership camp leader). Aster has band practice three mornings a week. This is the family's EV.

Monday morning, I didn't play around with these photos. Taken in the same spot. The first shows the foreground, the second the skies.

I tried another pano photo out the backyard, with limited success.

My chair!

We had a doe visiting the Hostas in the fog. She came back in the night and finished off the other plant.

Forest walk: The Five Sisters, now down to four.

  8. Golly, Jo is doing so much! Congrats on driving too! Those maples (?) 4 sisters look a lot like the ones growing outside my livingroom. So long hostas...you must have removed the deer protection from them.

  10. Jenn - a license is such a life-changer for the teen and the adults that are around. Some freedom for all, and some new fears!!!! Love the sky photos!

  13. Happy October! Both my older great-grandsons are now driving -- scary times for our granddaughter and her husband. We all lived through it!
