Here is the last (I think) Monarch for the season. We don't get too many, despite having loads of milkweed.

What a cute fawn picture! It won't be long now, and they will lose their spots. Autumn can be bittersweet, such a precious time of the year, but with the threat of winter right behind it, it can be depressing.
ReplyDeleteHello Jenn,
ReplyDeleteA great critter post. I love the Monarch butterfly, the spotted fawn and the fisher. I would be spooked having the coyote around. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a wonderful weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Always so much fun to see your critters! Last night we watch 21 turkeys march past our house and towards the meadow out back. It was quite the sight! I just refreshed our one camera out back and am looking forward to seeing what goes on again!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy these! Thank you!
Oh boy, you've got enough critters to make up for my only having one, which I borrowed from the internet. The variety of critters around you is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteGreat videos.
ReplyDeleteYou always post the best critters!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any monarchs, and they are wise to avoid my suburbia.

ReplyDeleteAdorables! YAM xx
I've never seen a fisher and they are strange looking critters. Love that pretty Monarch! WOW!
ReplyDeleteWe get no monarchs, not anymore 😢 We get viceroys, though, so that's something...
ReplyDeleteYou pick up such good critters! I couldn’t find the mouse.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I haven't seen many Monarchs this year and not really many butterflies at all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creatures!
ReplyDeleteOH the critters you have!! All we get our rabbits, squirrels, birds, a cat every now and then and every so often a raccoon.
ReplyDeleteI do love your critters. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIf you put your captions all together, you have a beautiful nature poem!
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't find your mouse!
ReplyDeleteLots of critters!
ReplyDeleteI ordered a new GardenPro today. One of mine conked out for good.
ReplyDeleteLove this, both photos and videos are great. Darling fawn! The fisher is fascinating.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and videos, especially the squirrel.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at all the wildlife you're able to see. I wish the monarchs would come back to Hawaii. I only see the occasional swallowtail.
