Bug season hasn't let up. The deerflies are horrid. I use these sticky patches on my hats.

Happy Saturday! Hope the deer flies all fly away soon. Aren't they terrible! Awful bites! OK, I haven't had one bite me in quite a while, but the memory is there. Worse than... Anyway, loved seeing all your critters with exception of deer flies.

I've never seen a fisher so you have one on me! (I don't know that I've ever actually seen a coyote, either!) Poor deer and Fred. Hoping JB is continuing to improve!
We have bugs here but I've never seen deer flies like that! Shish! Take care!

Yikes on the Deerflies! I spent summers in an area like that where the deerflies were awful and nasty. I have no idea how we survived without ways to deter them.

Fabulous photos today! THose butterflies and deer -- marvelous. But oh, your poor basil. I feel your pain. So far so good for me -- but the season is young.
